So far, here in greater Raleigh area NC, we always talked and wrote about things to do to improve your crawlspace and save on energy bills. Here are some things NOT TO DO in your crawl space:
1. Don’t install a liner or concrete without removing organic material (wood, insulation, etc.) from the dirt floor first.
2. Don’t put a vapor barrier or rigid insulation board on the ceiling of your crawl space (unless your home is on stilts).
3. Don’t depressurize a space that has combustion appliances (more than one pascal).
